So there isn't any running water in our houses but
there isn't a lot of noise like in the city where the
streets are full of cars and buses. There aren't a lot of
cars and the only thing you hear up here are the
chickens clucking and the people chatting. The air is
really pure and fresh. There isn't any pollution and
there isn't any rubbish in the street like in the city.
Everyone knows you here. There aren't a lot of people like in the city. We can leave our doors open here
because there aren't any criminals to steal our things.
There isn't a lot of entertainment for young people up
here. There isn't any electricity so we can't watch TV.
Another bad thing is that there aren't a lot of buses -
there are only two buses to the city, one on
Wednesday and one on Saturday, but I still love life up
here in the cool Chiapas hills and don't want to move
to the city.
